The Story: Virtapay.com's earlier name was Paybox.me and started its action with offering "early bird" bonus virtual money which can be redeemed against real $ at some member shopping outlets on the web. It also gave away virtual money for logging into their websites($25).They also did surveys on their website of some well-known online shopping stoppers such as Ebay, Kmart, Bestbuy and others. Some guys posted reviews on helium.com or some article directories of how good this site is!. Up to this point, this site got some million members as reported on its website but suddenly it was transfered to Facebook for more members where you have to povide your cell phone number which was their second hook to get your data. Now, when members did not much responded entusiastically, it started turning away from its "virtual money" lottery. They started sending a lot of emails(in inbox) and spams which delude me for a while that of so many spams? Then it became clear that they might be just trying to phish people by sending Paypal's link and other similar websites. virtapay.com registred as operating from Nevada, USA but actually It seems they are bunch of known-region guys trying to Phish people of their valuables.
Tips: So, how do you know the scam sites? Few simple tips might do, 1) if the payout is not quickly enough, monthly or weekly then site is a problem. 2) The members can be a show-off, so the number of members do not matter(limited numbers of members do not apply to online extravagence!). 3) The website Ptc-investigation.com may reveal whether site is real or fake one. These less-tedious tips may stop you from getting into the whirlpool but nobody can deny the lure of making it online.
